SensiTiViTy Wakes me Up : InsPiRing BedTiME Stories

A little boy is telling his Grandma how "everything" is going wrong.
School, family problems, health problems, problems with
friends, etc... Meanwhile, Grandma is baking a cake... She asks
her grandson if he would like a snack, which, of course, he does.
"Here, have some cooking oil." *"Yuck" says the boy. "How
about a couple raw eggs? " "Gross, Grandma!" "Would you like
some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?" "Grandma, those
are all yucky!" To which Grandma replies: "Yes, all those things
seem bad all by themselves. But when they are put together in
the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake!... God
works the same way. Many times we wonder why he would let
us go through such bad and difficult times. But Allah knows
that when He puts these things all in His order, they always work
for good! We just have to trust Him and, eventually, they

will all make something wonderful!"

Tahir was a very pious man, but he was not very attractive
looking. One day, he was walking along the road, minding
his own business, when a lady came up to him, and started
calling him names and abusing him. This lady kept saying
all kinds of nasty things, and Mahmud just listened to her
patientl...y. Finally, when she was finished calling him
names and abusing him, Tahir just greeted her, smiled, and said
"and a nice day to you," and continued on his way. Why did Tahir,
the pious man, behave this way? It is because he knew that
everything she said was just a reflection of her own inner self.
If you use bad language, you are just making obvious to
everybody how far away you really are from Allah, since
your words are in reality a reflection of your own inner self. {L}

There was an old family that was financially stable, they earned enough but lived
in a simple, little hut. They didn't have proper carpet just bits and pieces of it here
and there, no nice furniture nor a big tele, just a simple little house with no luxurious stuff.

The people of the community who lived nearby used to visit this woman that lived in
this small hut and they would see how run down her home was and they talked
amongst themselves in the community. "Have you seen what dump they live in,
it's a sham! they haven't even chairs to sit on nor carpets. The wallpapers all
peeling. What do they do with the money they earn? her husband has a high paid job!"
One day one of the woman's friends come to her house and they were sitting
chatting and the friend says 'Your husbands has a well payed job so why don't
you get this house done up?'
The woman replies 'We've got another house so we use our money on that

instead because we don't see the point of spending it on here'.

The woman's friend is surprised and says 'Oh i didn't know you had another
 house, where is this house?'

The woman replies 'In Jannah'

A while ago, my Dad met a stranger who was new to our small town.
From the beginning, Dad was fascinated with this enchanting newcomer
and soon invited him to live with our family. The stranger was quickly
accepted and was around from then on.

As I grew up, I never questioned his place in my family. In my
young mind, he had a special niche. My parents were complementary
instructors: Mom taught me good from evil, and Dad taught me
to obey. But the stranger…he was our storyteller. He would
keep us spellbound for hours on end with adventures, mysteries
and comedies. If I wanted to know anything about politics,
history or science, he always knew the answers about the past,
understood the present and even seemed able to predict the
future! He took my family to the first major league ball game.
He made me laugh, and he made me cry. The stranger never
stopped talking, but Dad didn’t seem to mind.
Sometimes, Mom would get up quietly while the rest of us were
shushing each other to listen to what he had to say, and she
would go to the kitchen for peace and quiet. (I wonder now
if she ever prayed for the stranger to leave.) Dad ruled our
household with certain moral convictions, but the stranger
never felt obligated to honor them. Profanity, for example,
was not allowed in our home… Not from us, our friends
or any visitors. Our longtime visitor, however, got away with
four-letter words that burned my ears and made my dad squirm
and my mother blush. My Dad didn’t permit the liberal use of
alcohol. But the stranger encouraged us to try it on a regular
basis. He made cigarettes look cool, cigars manly and pipes
He talked freely (much too freely!) about sex. His comments
were sometimes blatant, sometimes suggestive, and generally
embarrassing. I now know that my early concepts about
relationships were influenced strongly by the stranger. Time
after time, he opposed the values of my parents, yet he was
seldom rebuked… And NEVER asked to leave.
More than fifty years have passed since the stranger moved
in with our family. He has blended right in and is not nearly
as fascinating as he was at first. Still, if you could walk into
my parents’ den today, you would still find him sitting over
in his corner, waiting for someone to listen to him talk
and watch him draw his pictures. Categorically, he
destroyed all the moral values, ethics, love, time for each
other and other good qualities we had in our family…..whilst a
dding some unnoticeable quantity of positive stuff also,
which any way we would have had even without him…… His name?…. .. .
. .
We just call him ‘TV.’ He has a wife now….We call her ‘Computer.’
Their first child is “Cell Phone”. Second child “I Pod” ◄fS►

Biografi Al-Imam Al-Bukhari

di masa kecilnya. Keliling dunia mencari ilmu. Menghafal
ratusan ribu hadis. Karyanya menjadi rujukan utama
setelah al-Qur'an. Lahir di Bukhara pada bulan Syawal
tahun 194 H. Dipanggil dengan Abu Abdillah. Nama
lengkap beliau Muhammmad bin Ismail bin
sebutan Al Imam Al Bukhari. Buyut beliau,
Al Mughirah, semula beragama Majusi (Zoroaster),
kemudian masuk Islam lewat perantaraan
gabenor Bukhara yang bernama Al Yaman Al Ju'fi.
Sedang ayah beliau, Ismail bin Al Mughirah, seorang
Sewaktu kecil Al Imam Al Bukhari buta kedua matanya. Pada
suatu malam ibu beliau bermimpi melihat Nabi Ibrahim Al Khalil

Ketika berusia sepuluh tahun, Al Imam Al Bukhari mulai menuntut
ilmu, beliau melakukan pengembaraan ke Balkh, Naisabur, Rayy,
Baghdad, Bashrah, Kufah, Makkah, Mesir, dan Syam. Guru-guru
beliau banyak sekali jumlahnya. Di antara mereka yang sangat
terkenal adalah Abu 'Ashim An-Nabiil, Al Anshari, Makki bin
Ibrahim, Ubaidaillah bin Musa, Abu Al Mughirah, 'Abdan
bin 'Utsman, 'Ali bin Al Hasan bin Syaqiq, Shadaqah bin Al Fadhl,
Abdurrahman bin Hammad Asy-Syu'aisi, Muhammad bin
'Ar'arah, Hajjaj bin Minhaal, Badal bin Al Muhabbir, 'Abdullah
bin Raja', Khalid bin Makhlad, Thalq bin Ghannaam, Abdurrahman
Al Muqri', Khallad bin Yahya, Abdul 'Azizi Al Uwaisi, Abu Al Yaman,
'Ali bin Al Madini, Ishaq bin Rahawaih, Nu'aim bin Hammad,
bin Al Hajjaj An Naisaburi, penyusun kitab Shahih Muslim.
sanad (rangkaian perawi-perawi)-nya".
susun (maksudnya : kitab Shahih Bukhari)?" Beliau menjawab,
Berikut
ini adalah sederet pujian (rekomendasi) termaksud:
Muhammad bin Abi Hatim berkata, " Saya mendengar
Abu Abdillah (Al Imam Al Bukhari) berkata, "Para sahabat 'Amr bin
'Ali Al Fallaas pernah meminta penjelasan kepada saya tentang
status (kedudukan) sebuah hadits. Saya katakan kepada
mereka, "Saya tidak mengetahui status (kedudukan) hadits
tersebut". Mereka jadi gembira dengan sebab mendengar
ucapanku, dan mereka segera bergerak menuju 'Amr. Lalu
mereka menceriterakan peristiwa itu kepada 'Amr. 'Amr berkata
Abu Bakar bin Munir berkata, "Saya mendengar Abu Abdillah Al Bukhari
Al Firabri berkata, "Saya bermimpi melihat Nabi Shallallaahu 'Alaihi
Beliau Shallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam berkata, "Sampaikan
salamku kepadanya!"
Al Imam Al Bukhari wafat pada malam Idul Fithri tahun 256 H.
ketika beliau mencapai usia enam puluh dua tahun. Jenazah
beliau dikuburkan di Khartank, nama sebuah desa di Samarkand
Semoga Allah Ta'ala mencurahkan rahmat-Nya kepada Al Imam Al Bukhari.
